Obsession: Chunky Statement Necklace

The Chunkier... The Better!
If you’re looking to add a dash of sparkling accessories to your wardrobe... Look no further!  After all, what better place to start than from the neck up.

So, here are my latest Chunky Statement Necklace loot. Honestly, I'm so obsessed with accessories and I don't know why? If only I could buy all the accessories in this world, I'll do it! How I wish!(harhar). I think that accessories also plays a big role in every girls outfit. Just wearing a single piece of accessory can really change an entire look.

Anyways, these are my current Chunky Statement Necklace faves and I LOVE them all! And Ooh! I can't wait to wear and match them with my future outfits(LOL!).

Chunky Statement Necklace is also the new kid in town!

The chunkier, the funkier, the bigger, the better!
So set aside the small delicate pieces in the meantime and get ready to go BOLD!

In my opinion, this accessory doesn't have to be expensive, but it can add a pop of color or glam to any outfit. You can find different styles made from a variety of materials: glass, hammered metal, gemstones, beads, acrylic, plastic, shells or resins.

Because of it's size, a chunky necklace can stand on it's own or it can look great when worn with other necklaces as a layering piece. Wear them with a button down shirt for work (under the collar like a man's tie), a simple t-shirt and wide legged jeans for play, or a chic strappy dress to go out.

A Chunky Statement Necklace can also add a pop of color to a simple outfit, making it from casual to chic!

Lovely in Palazzo

Top : Victoria Secret
Palazzo Pants : H&M
Earrings : SM Accessories
Necklace : Robinson's Dept. Store
Belt : The Blacksheep Shop
Bag : Laura Biagotti

Palazzo Pants (pa·laz·zo \pə-ˈlät-(ˌ)sō\ pants)

Definition: are woman's trousers with very wide legs.

It makes us wonder why they were called “palazzo” pants in the first place. Is it because they have legs as big as palaces? Or maybe because they exude elegance yet are airy and comfortable.

Similar to how a maxi skirt works at hiding problem areas, the  Palazzo pants skim over all your bumps and lumps to help create a clean silhouette. The larger, flared hem line helps balance out your shape and the higher waistline defines that area giving you the perfect hourglass figure.

Palazzo Pants are really versatile, the pants can be worn and styled to suit any number of current trends or occasions that may pop up.

With my look, this is what I wore at my friend's (baby) Christening. I opted to wear a casual girly look so I think that my cream/beige ensemble plus palazzo pants is a perfect outfit for the occassion. Thankfully, the weather is fine that day. I'm a little bit worried because I might get wet on the rain, but still, lucky ME!!! It didn't Yehey!(harhar).
OK! Back to my outfit, what I love about this palazzo pants is that they're so comfortable and of course chic and make legs look like they are miles long!
And with it's chiffon material it's very flowy and really girly-girly for me(hihih!). I paired it with this cutie distressed top, add a gold belt to define my waist and this statement necklace which are my current faves and obsession aside from shoes of course! And finished it off with my wedge shoes for extra height again.

And, that's it for now! Until my next blog.

Seeing Black and White

Dress : NYX Clothing
Belt : Glamour Studio
Necklace : Bvlgari
Bag : Valentino Ghiberty
Wedge : Montego Bay Club

Do you think opposites attract? Or do your eyes glaze over and think ‘boring’ when you see monochromatic black and white? If so, think again. Monochromatic Black and White is more than just an enduring, season-in, season-out trend, it’s also a palate cleanser of the highest order. There is no better example of how enduring it is than Coco Chanel herself (always chic in her black Boucle Chanel suit and a while blouse) and the always gracious Carolina Herrera, whose “uniform” of a while top and black trousers and/or black skirt is the absolute height of elegance and sophistication. The Black and White Monochrome look is also one of the few real trends in women’s fashion. Monochrome is one of the simplest, most chic of looks to work whatever the year and never fails to gain attention when done well, right?

With my look, I wore this simple black dress with small white details on it. I think majority of the color of my outfit is in black so I wore my white wedge to contrast my look. I think that the Black and White Monochrome is likewise easy—and ideal–for creating a fairly effortless travel wardrobe. This dark against light, black with white monochrome fashion look is classic, and the perfect choice right now for anyone with a financially critical wardrobe budget. And, there you have it!

To Jumpsuit or Not to Jumpsuit

Floral Jumpsuit : Korean Brand
Accessories : Bazaar Finds
Bag : Tsumori Chisato
Shoes : Charlotte Russe

Jumpsuits no longer just exist in Beastie Boys' music videos, they are everywhere from the cat walk to the stylish streets.

The best thing about jumpsuits is that at any shape and size you can rock the look although there are jumpsuits that may not show your shape you can use belts to define and show off your body's silhouette. They no longer just come in denim but you can get them at really fashionable styles in chic cloth, cut and color. Pair them up with funky sneakers or some heels and surely you are gonna make a statement.

With my look, I'm wearing a Floral Jumpsuit. I'm just too lazy to dress-up because of the unpredictable weather (Rain or Shine as usual), so I think with this jumpsuit, I'm already wearing a total package, Chic and Stylish. I just added minimal accessories and finished off with my heels. This jumpsuit is a little bit long for me so I need heels for extra height. Just before the rain starts to pour, I was able to snatch some pix. Lucky ME! harhar! :)
