It's a COLORFUL Day!

 Top :  etsetera
Shorts : Push Thru
Accessories : SM
Belt : SM
Pumps : BXGZ

Thank God! It stopped raining for a while and I'm in the mood to wear shorts (LOL). Actually, I only  planned of wearing a simple shirt and a denim shorts for this day because I'm craving to eat street food. So, I asked my hubby-ness to fetch me so we can go on a street food trip/date (kunwari!hehehe) . Last minute, I changed my mind and changed my outfit too because I thought that after our street food trip, we'll still go somewhere out there (harhar) and meet our friends. And, Now this is my outfit. I wore a plain top and paired it with my floral eyelet shorts. Maybe, you've already seen my top and shorts from my previous outfit post. Before, I had this attitude of not repeating clothes... Feeling celebrity lang ang drama (LOL!), but I realized that it's OK to wear them twice, thrice or even more and it's a shame not to repeat clothes right? Maybe, it's only a matter of mix and match. And I think that, it's where your creative ideas will come out on the way you put your clothes/outfit together. So, now I repeat my clothes hihih! And that's it... 'Till next time.

Relief Goods Giving

Last Tuesday (August 7, 2012) it  was supposed to be a celebration for us because it's my son's 8th birthday, but it was raining non-stop these past few days and everybody experienced heavy rains causing most part of the Philippines especially here in the Luzon area flooded. When I turn on the TV to watch the news, every channel that I go to were talking about the same thing and how this heavy floods caused damages in every peoples houses. Our area here in Pampanga was declared in the state of calamity. Most of the roads look like rivers and it's not passable. The dike which used to block the water from flowing to the road was also damaged causing the flood to rise in just a snap. After so many years, since the Mt. Pinatubo eruption, I can't believe we've been experiencing this again.

Last Saturday (August 11, 2012) Our friends and my family extended our little help by giving some relief goods to the victims of the heavy floods. My kids joined in packing the relief goods. We were able to packed 100bags of relief goods then we went to San Nicolas Integrated School to distribute them.

My kids helped in packing the relief good.

On our way to San Nicolas, the road was still flooded.

Some victims sleep on the road.

Along San Matias and Mc-Arthur Highway

Big trucks were used for public transportation and they offer free ride.

This is how San Nicolas Integrated School looks like.

After distributing the relief goods to the victims, I realized that we we're still lucky that our place was not affected by the heavy floods, but seeing the houses of these victims, it really broke our hearts and pity them so much. But, on the other side of it, through our little help, we were able to give them something and made them happy. I know that what we gave is not that Big enough but these simple things can already make a Big difference in their lives. I just hope and pray that the rain will stop so that everyone can already move on and start all over again.

And lastly, I know that the people of Pampanga are brave and strong and everything will be back to normal.

If you'd also like to help, you can volunteer and donate canned goods, cooked food, noodles, biscuits, bread, milk, bottled water, medicine, blankets, clothes, towels, reusable containers, toothbrushes, toothpastes, etc. Cash donations can also be made.

Aztec and Pastel Together

Skirt : Trendy Chic
Necklace : Accessorize
Belt : Mango

Aztec prints and pastels are a perfect combo! Obviously, I can't get enough of this mullet skirt. This is my second time wearing it and so with my top. I love mullet skirt because it makes me look taller and slimmer (hahaha slimmer!) and it can be paired with just about anything, and it makes all my outfit looks super Chic. I think when I'm not so busy I'll be sewing more of this skirt in all colors (LoL!).

Hope you like my look... Until next time :)

Bright as the Sunlight

Top : Curve
Shorts : Push Thru
Belt : SM Accessories
Necklace : The Blacksheep Shop
Bag : Louis Vuitton Bellevue
Shoes : Liang Niu

What's a Chic outfit to wear on a gloomy weather? None other than a Bright Colored Outfit. Bright Colors are one of the biggest fashion trend this season. Aside from it's my favorite trend. It's so easy to p

ull-off. You can easily easily incorporate bright splashes of color into your wardrobe and it'll also make you shine and stand-out in all occassions.

With my look, this is what I wore on a roadtrip/foodtrip to Subic with my hubby and friends. I'm wearing a bright purple chiffon top and I paired it with my eyelet fabric floral shorts. Eyelet fabric pattern is also making a comeback in the fashion scene. It's actually a type of lace made by creating holes in a fabric medium. Each hole is edged using a buttonhole stitch. It's beautifully elegant and yet more durable than most other types of lace. I also added my Chunky Statement Necklace in screaming Neon Prints and I Love It! They're my faves and I can't get enough of them, to finished off my look I wore my Chunky Nude Clogs. Now, I'm so colorful! (harhar).

What do you think?

Hope you like my colorful outfit. Until then...
