Ever since the 1920′s, the long skirt has had a rough road. Competing against the shorter, more revealing styles, the maxi skirt almost went extinct many times, but has pulled itself back from the brink. Today, the maxi skirt is coming back in many forms from plain and bold prints to sheer and is now taking the Fashion scene by storm.

And, without a doubt! Sheer Skirts is now the new Black!
Maxi skirts are here to stay. The maxi skirt can be made as “you” as you want it to be, from laidback chic to quirky. It is great for every shape and when chosen right, it can hide fashionista’s problem areas and emphasize what needs to be emphasized.

With my look, this is what I wore on Father's Day. After attending to my son's school meeting. We went out and had a simple lunch together with my other family members. It's those little things that means so much, right?

One of the basic pieces that will never go out of style is a good old pair of shorts. You can go from denim, plain or printed like this floral shorts I'm wearing. It pretty much fits any season in the Philippines and can be worn with any kind of top that you have. For this season, I have an excuse to wear shorts because of the sweltering summer heat though it's supposed to be a rainy season. Anyway, I'll just bare the heat for now(heheehe).

Thanks to my friend Vernon Lusung for my instant photoshoot while waiting for the Pacquiao-Bradley Fight. It really is my lucky day 'coz I got a professional photographer for free and I won the boxing bet though I'm sad too that Pacman lost the fight.

Black and leopard are the ultimate timeless style combo! Obviously, I have a soft spot for leopard print… it stays in style from season to season and you could wear all year round.. You can go all out or add a subtle hint with a cute accessory, purse or shoes.

On to my look, I wore this leopard print maxi skirt. What I liked about it is that it has a mini-skirt lining underneath and still shows the sheer part of it, sexy but not too revealing. I paired it with a plain chiffon top and add a statement necklace, a braided belt to cinch my waist and finished off with my nude T-strap shoes. A chic style to wear when going out with friends.

Thank God It's FRIDAY! Yehey... I'm feeling kinda lazy to dress-up (lazy pa nyan heheh) because the weather is getting unpredictable maybe because summer is over (but I'm not over yet) and rainy season is coming(Ooh No!).

Well, On to my look, I just wore this mustard trouser since their making a huge comeback in the fashion scene and also a huge trend right now, actually I think that these trousers are not really a trend (for me) but also a wardrobe staple and a good investment piece. They're effortless and ultra-chic! They are also versatile  and so many different looks can be created- day or night, casual or dressy. I Just paired it with a chic top (this is a sample of the clothes that I'll be selling online soon. I miss my boutique so much too bad I had to closed it. Well, I can always open a new one, right? And selling is also one of my passion. Well, I can't help it, maybe I'm born to be a businesswoman hahaha!), OK! back to what I wore, I also add some accessories. These 7 pieces bracelets I bought are so awesome and my super favorite because they're so classy and I can easily pair them with any of my outfit. Then, I just finished it off with my wedge shoes. And, Now I'm ready to go! hihi!
