Day 2 ~ Touchdown SAGADA!

After our non-stop camwhoring in Banaue, we traveled for another 4 hours going to Sagada, Mountain Province. But first, we made a quick stopover to Bontoc Province and had our lunch there and took some (but of course) pictures at the municipal hall.

Afterwards, we finally reached our destination which was Sagada. We arrived at 3pm and then headed down to our hotel which was St. Joseph's Resthouse. After doing some quick freshen up, we headed downtown and start exploring the place. Time was too precious for us so we made sure that every second counts and make the most out it. It was surprising that day, it was their town's fiesta and that's why there were a lot of people and vendors and ukay-ukay's (thrift shop) nearby.

Then, our first adventure began. Our first stop was the hanging coffins. It was like a 30 minute trek so it's really advisable to wear comfortable shoes. It was kinda scary at first because you'll be walking at the side of the cliff and the road was too tiny. If you have "Batophobia" (Fear of heights), better think twice first if you really want to have a glimpse of the coffins. Some of my friends were brave enough to see the coffins up-close but others including me preferred to wait for them (in short "we chicken out") and enjoyed our pictorial instead hahaha! I don't have fear of heights really. As a matter of fact I enjoyed riding roller coasters and other extreme rides but when I went to see the coffins, I was really so scared. I thought that somebody might push me and I'll fall-off the cliff(LOL). Well that's just my wild imagination though.

After our adventures at the hanging coffins we headed straight to the Yoghurt House and had our sumptuous dinner and then we went back at St. Joseph's Resthouse and of course had our party party time hahaha!

Up next, the highlight of our Sagada Adventure which I'll be blogging next... so please stand by. Bye for now!

Finally, Group shots before heading on our next destination which is Sagada!Yehey!

Last week, my friends (Team Manipis) as what we call our group and I, made a 4-days and 3-nights vacation. And our first stop on our list was Banaue, Mountain Province. We left Pampanga at around 6am and we arrived at Banaue at 2pm so it was like a 8 hour trip. It was a long journey though and then we even got lost because we couldn't find our place to stay, and sometimes what took our journey so long was that a lot of stopovers and what else! Non-stop picture taking from the road. Obviously, we were all excited(hahaha!). Then we headed into Native Village Inn where we had an overnight stay.

The moment I saw the place (Native Village Inn) it was so beautiful and it's really like paradise. Actually, the weather was not that cold but I still felt it especially during the night. We stayed in an Ifugao Hut (isn't that cool?) I was so excited to sleep for the first time, at least I had experienced staying in a real Ifugao hut and felt that I was really in Banaue(LOL!). From outside you can see the view of the Banaue Rice Terraces. It was magnificent! It's really a 7 Wonders of the World.

The next morning, we had our sumptuous breakfast and the food served at Native Village was delicious and the staffs were all accommodating even if we had too many requests they didn't even complain. We even met the owner and she's super nice and friendly too.

I really had a wonderful time staying in Banaue and also at the Native Village Inn. If you're planning for a Banaue trip don't forget to stay at the Native Village Inn. I definitely recommend it and it's really worth staying for.

Last week, we had a 4 day vacation/trip together with my friends and we went to Banaue, Sagada and Baguio. We really planned for that vacation for a long time though and finally it happened. We we're all very excited because most of us it's our first time to visit the Mountain Province. I was also very excited because I know that the weather will be cold and I'll be able to wear layers of clothing like what other people usually do in other countries when it's winter season, although it's never gonna get snow here in the Philippines(How I wish!Hahaha!) but at least the weather was still a bit colder and I can channel some of my winter outfits hahaha!

Anyway, we were expecting that it's gonna be super cold in Mountain Province but when we arrived there the weather was just fine and wearing shorts was still be possible. It was just a bit breezy and the coldness was still tolerable.

OK! With my OOTD, when we left for Banaue, it was a little bit colder because of the fog but then when we arrived in Mountain Province the weather became fine. So I removed my furry Jacket and leggings and boots and changed it into this more comfy sweater and then I paired it with this denim shorts and sneakers. Of course I also brought along with me my wide brimmed hat and some chunky sunnies in case it's gonna be hot and I needed some protection from the sun.

I know that we're gonna go hiking and caving and nature tripping but who says you can't be fashionable even if you'll be going to a mountain right? Well I did! Hahaha!

By the way, pardon me for my photos because I wasn't able to take some decent outfit shots because my husband was the one holding our camera(hehehe!), but I'm still lucky because my friend (ate Dalsa) helped me took some of this quick outfit shots from my phone.
*Thank you so much Sissy Dalsa(Love yah mwah!)*

Well, that's it for now! I'll be posting my extreme adventures in Sagada and that'll be next so stand-by!
